The Logistics Coordinator works alongside a team of account managers to help support the daily operations of existing customers. As a Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for growing customer accounts by providing outstanding customer service and developing impactful relationships with customer and carrier contacts.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with customers’ planners, logistics teams, and facilities.
  • Work with customer contacts to understand their shipping needs.
  • Manage volume intake of customers’ shipments and update Sentro’s proprietary technology to reflect current status of loads.
  • Work with Carrier Managers and Carrier Sales Reps to ensure shipments are covered with the best viable option.
  • Schedule loads and communicate any transit issues to respective parties.
  • React with sense of urgency to solve problems and look for ways to improve operational inefficiencies.
  • Work with Accounting Department and Carrier Reps to ensure accurate invoices.
  • Collaborate with team and manager to come up with ways to improve and grow accounts.
  • Execute Sentro’s SOP according to customers’ needs.

Required Experience & Skills

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Analyst to join the Supply Chain Management Group. The Supply Chain Management Group at Sentro is responsible for designing, selling, and implementing Sentro’s growing portfolio of non-transactional logistics services. As an Analyst in the Supply Chain Management Group, you will play a key role in designing and implementing Sentro’s service portfolio.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Analyzing and designing operational solutions for projects such as network optimization, transportation mode analysis, shipment consolidation, data simulation and supply chain collaboration
  • Designing, executing and presenting a variety of transportation and logistics-related data analysis for Sentro clients and internal teams
  • Creating SOP, management reports and KPI
  • Supporting supply chain consulting engagements for Sentro clients
  • Growing business by identifying and capturing incremental sales opportunities from both new and existing accounts
  • Creating internal and external network model
  • Collaborating with Sales and Information Technology teams for network design, etc. on a project-by-project basis
  • Evaluating effectiveness of current or future logistical process for Sentro clients
  • Leading other diverse project teams focused on both internal and external improvement efforts

Required Experience & Skills

  • 1-2 years of supply chain experience
  • Very proficient in using MS Excel for data analysis and visualization
  • Experience working on some modeling tools for optimization, data-simulation, statistics et
  • Capable problem solver who uses logic to create effective solutions to complex customer problems
  • Team focused and accountable of commitments made to the business
  • Previous experience in Transportation, Logistics and IT Systems experience preferred
  • Undergraduate / Graduate in Supply Chain / Logistics preferred

As a National Account Manager at Sentro, you will focus on the fast-paced brokerage aspect of our business, helping customers move their inventory in the most cost-effective way by identifying and providing logistics solutions. You will create and manage your individual portfolio of accounts through constant communication with prospects, customers and carriers alike. These conversations include, but are not limited to, determining carrier availability, negotiating rates based on market trends, identifying and resolving issues.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in 3PL, Freight Forwarding or Trucking preferred
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Experience in dealing with “C” level management
  • Consultative sales experience preferred
