  2. Provide shipment details:
  • Origin and destination addresses (including city, province/state, postal/zip code)
  • Pickup and delivery dates/times (flexible windows help us secure better rates)
  • Freight description: Type (dry, reefer, etc.), weight, dimensions, number of pallets/pieces, freight class (if known)
  • Special requirements (e.g., liftgate, residential delivery, hazmat, time-definite)
  1. Submit your request – Via email, phone, portal form, or your dedicated account manager
  2. Receive your quote – We compare vetted carriers for the best combination of rate, service level, and transit time (usually within hours; real-time quotes available in our TMS for established clients).
  3. Accept and confirm – Review accessorials, terms, and carrier assignment, then approve to book

Booking a Pickup

Simple steps to schedule pickup after quote acceptance

  1. Confirm your shipment in the Sentro portal or with your account manager – Provide any final details like BOL instructions or appointment needs
  2. Specify pickup details:
  • Exact pickup address and contact (including hours of operation)
  • Ready time and latest pickup window
  • Loading requirements (forklift, dock height, appointment needed)
  1. Submit the booking – Use the portal's dispatch feature, email, or call us. We handle carrier coordination and confirm pickup details.
  2. Receive confirmation – You'll get a load number, carrier details, and ETA for pickup.
  3. Prepare for arrival – Ensure freight is ready, properly labeled/packaged, and documentation (BOL) is available, freight class, and compliance (e.g., USMCA docs for cross-border).

Tracking Your Shipment

How to stay informed without juggling multiple carrier sites

  1. Access your centralized dashboard – Log in to the Sentro client portal (gosentro.com Customer Login)
  2. View all shipments – Find your load by reference number, load ID, PO number, or shipment date
  3. Real-time updates – We automatically pull the latest status from partner carriers (including location, milestones like "in transit," "en route," "delivered," and PODs when available)
  4. Monitor key details – Check estimated delivery time, carrier notes, exceptions (delays, OS&D), and full history
  5. Get notified – Enable email alerts for status changes, or rely on our proactive team for critical updates.
